It was a big night for American singer Olivia Rodrigo at the 64th Annual Grammy awards function as she won three Grammys for The Best New Artist, Best Pop Vocal Album for Sour and Best Pop Solo Performance for Drivers License.

However, Olivia accidentally dropped one of her trophies and broke it in half while she was posing for pictures backstage and her shocked expression was captured by one of the photographers at the event. Notably, global singing sensation Taylor Swift, who is often referred by Olivia as one of the biggest influences on her music career, went through a similar incident at the 2010 Grammys accidentally dropped and broke one of her four awards backstage and later got help piecing it back together.

Olivia Rodrigo had earlier spoken about getting a congratulatory note from Taylor Swift following the success of her debut single ‘Drivers License.’ “I don’t want to divulge too much because it’s really sweet and personal, but she talks a lot about how, I think, you make your own luck in the world. And when you do kind things to others, good things come your way,” she had informed Billboard in May 2021.
