Official Clarification From Team ‘Kannappa’

Manchu Vishnu’s Kannappa is one of the much-awaited films in Telugu. After the postponement announcement of the film, there have been a lot of rumors that the film’s premiere was held yesterday at Prasad Film Laboratories.

Meanwhile, the team confirmed that there is no truth in the speculations and no premiere was held.

The statement said, “Official Clarification from Team Kannappa: Contrary to rumours spreading online, there was NO premiere or screening of the full movie yesterday. The Kannappa team only reviewed a 15-minute VFX segment for quality assessment and corrections.”

“The film’s first cut is still under progress, primarily due to extensive and detailed VFX work, which demands considerable time and effort. We request fans and media not to believe or spread unverified information. Official updates will be announced soon. Thank you for your understanding and continued support,” read the statement.

Kannappa was supposed to hit the screens in this month but it has been postponed and the makers did not confirm the new release date of the movie.
