‘NTR: Mahanayakudu’ & the trade perception

It has been almost two days since the rumour went out that ‘NTR: Mahanayakudu’ will be postponed.  Yes, the grapevine has it that the political drama won’t be out on February 7.  

The producers are yet to condemn the rumours.  On the face of it, the postponement talk doesn’t bode well for the biopic, especially because ‘NTR: Kathanayakudu’ has flopped at the box office.  The perception in the trade circles can go haywire. 

Can it be imagined that Krish Jagarlamudi is mooting the reshoot of certain portions in view of how the first part of the biopic has been received by the audience?  Almost unlikely but speculative questions like this one are going to be asked by some.

The high-stakes Balakrishna movie should hit the right notes from now if it has to be in the news for positive reasons.
