Katrina Kaif is the latest film celeb to confirm her coronavirus positive status. The news comes in the wake of the second wave of the pandemic raging in Maharashtra.

Taking to Instagram, the Bollywood actress wrote that she has immediately isolated herself and will be under home quarantine. Adding that she is following all safety protocols under the advice of her doctors, Katrina also requested everyone who came in contact with her to get tested immediately.

Last week, Alia Bhatt tested positive. Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar are two other Bollywood stars who have contracted the virus.

Down South, actress Nivetha Thomas, producer Allu Aravind, actor R Madhavan, and 'Master' director Lokesh Kanagaraj have tested positive, with the last of these two recovering completely. Aravind is showing mild symptoms. Maddy has started promoting 'Rocketry' and even met with Narendra Modi earlier this week. Nivetha has isolated herself and is not participating in the promotions of 'Vakeel Saab'.
