A baseless rumour has gone out that yesteryear charming hero Suman has donated 117 acres of land near Yadadri in Telangana to the Indian Army. Turns out that the rumour is fake. There is no truth in the news about the popular film personality donating his land to the Army.

In a statement on Monday, Suman said, "I have been hearing this news across social media platforms. The said land parcel is currently litigated. The case is in court. I will talk about it once the dispute is resolved."

Suman has urged the media to stop resorting to rumours. 

A report has claimed that Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao himself will be handing over the land to the Army on behalf of Suman. A media report even put the value of the land at Rs 30 Cr. It's said that Suman had bought the land in the 1990s.
