No teaser of '2.0'; Report says it's fake news

It has been reported that the Teaser of '2.0' will be out at the Nadigar Sangam's Kaula Lampur event to be held on January 6.

As per an English-language daily, the news is fake. However, a 2D version of the film's first glimpse could be released on the date. Since Rajinikanth will be present at the event (which will also see many Kollywood stars gracing in style), the makers might kickstart the film's merchandising on that day so as to raise funds for the Nadigar Sangam.

The Shankar-directed magnum opus will hit the screens on April 14. Music is by AR Rahman.
