Legendary director Mani Ratnam finally fulfilled the dream of many Kollywood stalwarts by giving life to ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ on big screens, which is based on Kalki’s five-part novel of the same name. The film was released on September 30 and was acclaimed by fans and critics.
The hot news currently is that the Tamil films slated to be released in the upcoming week were pushed to a later date due to the box office rampage by ‘PS1’. Reportedly, the release of Sundar C’s ‘Coffee with Kaadhal’, Arun Vijay starrer ‘Borrder’, Aravind Swamy starrer ‘Sathuranga Vettai 2’ and Shiva starrer ‘Kasethan Kadavulada’ are likely to be postponed.
