Director and actor Samuthirakani had last appeared on screen in back to back movies Suriya’s Kaappaan and Siva Karthikeyan starrer Namma Veettu Pillai, and had last played lead role in the movie Kolanji which was released before few months.
Now the actor is all set to return in lead role with his movie Adutha Saattai, which is said to be the namesake sequel to his 2012 movie Saattai, and the same director Anbazhagan has directed this movie. Adutha Saattai also stars Athulya Ravi, Rajshri Ponnappa and Yuvan.
Earlier Adutha Sattai was supposed to be released by Libra Productions on October 5, but after several conflicts, the team had backed out, and now it has been made official that Adutha Saattai will be releasing on November 15. Adutha Saattai has music by Justin Prabhakaran and has a cameo by Sasikumar.
