The newlywed couple Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan landed at Cochin International Airport, on Sunday after their visit to Tirumala Tirupati. The star couple has arrived to meet and seek blessings from Nayanthara’s mother and family, who live in Kerala's Thiruvalla.

Reportedly, Nayanthara's parents couldn't make it to the wedding in Chennai due to health reasons. Hence, she decided to visit them as soon she tied the knot with Vignesh Shivan. The couple met the media fraternity in Chennai on June 11 and also had enjoy lunch with them.

In the pics, Nayanthara can be seen in an orange ethnic dress, whereas Vignesh opted for an all-black look as they got spotted at the airport. Pics of the couple being welcomed with flowers have also surfaced on social media.

For unversed, Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan tied the knot yesterday at a private resort in Mahabalipuram. The wedding was attended by Shah Rukh Khan, director Atlee, superstar Rajinikanth, Ajith and Thalapathy Vijay among a few others.
