Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan’s immediate action on finding a rare pebble gem

Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan who have been in love for the past five years and have been sharing wonderful moments with each other have now also started to explore new horizons professionally together too.  They have started their production house Rowdy Pictures, reminiscent of their first film together ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan’ recently acquired the rights of the upcoming film ‘Rocky’ starring Bharathiraja and Vasanth Ravi and directed by Arun Matheswaran.

Nayan and Vicky have now bagged the rights of one more movie titled ‘Koozhangal’ that has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and directed by debutante P.S. Vinoth Raj.

The joint statement of the creative couple reads “There are certain days that become precious and valuable when we come across a film that makes us proud of the field we are associated with. One such moment was watching a beautiful movie `Koozhaangkal’, which marks the directorial debut of P.S. Vinod Raj. The film’s premise is as simple as the title but created an exquisitely loveable impact within. Koozhaangkal didn’t ilea! our attention for a spellbinding performance of new actors and technical crew but Stirred our souls with adorable background score by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Such an experience instantly instilled in us the excitement to not just present the film theatrically, but also take it towards International film festivals and take over the entire production as well. We are proud to present this film for you in the hope that it will make an impact on you as well”.

Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan will once again meet on the sets of their new movie ‘Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal’ in Hyderabad which is in progress at the Ramoji Rao Film City.  The exciting rom-com also has Vijay Sethupathi and Samantha forming the love triangle which also incidentally is co-produced by Rowdy Pictures along with Seven Screen Studios.
