Naga Chaitanya, Samantha make their separation official

As has been rumoured widely, Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu are taking divorce. On Saturday afternoon, the Akkineni actor took to social media and told the world that their separation is mutual.

The ‘Love Story’ star said that he and Samantha have decided to part ways as husband and wife after much deliberation and thought. He added that they would be pursuing their own paths. 

“We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship,” Chay said, adding that he and Sam believe will always hold a special bond between us. 

He requested his fans, well-wishers and the media to support the duo during the difficult time. “Give us the privacy we need to move on,” Chay added.

Soon after Chay put out the statement, Samantha too posted it on her social media pages. The joint statement between the two has ended weeks of rumour-mongering. Many of the duo’s fans are upset.
