Producer Lagadapati Sridhar is on cloud nine.  He has only superlative praises for 'Naa Peru Surya', which he watched only on its release date.  Meeting the press today, Sridhar spoke in a heartfelt manner!

This is a stupendous success?

'NPS' is not an ordinary movie.  I didn't watch it till its release.  It's out-of-the-world.  All the credit should go to Vakkantham Vamsi.  And kudos to Allu Arjun for spotting the talent in him.  As per the information I have, 'NPS' collected Rs. 45 crores on the first day.  In Tamil Nadu, it released in 200 theatres.  In Kerala, it released in 110 theatres.  And it took tremendous openings in those states as well.   As per my estimations, the film mopped up Rs. 45 crores (Gross) on the first day.  It's doing great in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.  

It's a once-in-a-decade movie.  It prods the youngsters to question themselves as to who they are and what they want to do with respect to society.  'NPS' is the most intense movie!

It gives a bang for the buck?

I believe that my movies should give three times your money's worth.  But 'NPS' gives ten times your money's worth.  If you unhappy with the movie, I will give your money back!  It's my guarantee.  The Bengaluru area's distributor called me up yesterday and told me his son wanted him to buy a military dress for him on watching the movie!

Superb dialogues?

The dialogues are getting a huge response.  Surya says in the climax that being an Indian is not about holding the Indian passport and instead, it's about what you are at heart!  

Family emotions are the biggest thing?

The biggest thing about 'NPS' is its family emotions.  Family members would have reservations when you want to become a soldier.  After watching 'NPS', everybody would want an army man in their life.  Just as Pandavas achieved their goal after facing so many obstacles, so also in this story, the hero achieves his goals after so many hardships.

This is a book, not a 'Chandamama' story?

The stories that we see in most of the films are like 'Chandamama' stories.  But 'NPS' is like a book.  This has come at a time when today's generation has stopped reading books.

A classic actioner?

'NPS' is a classic actioner.  Three huge fights are there for a reason.  They are purposeful just as the battles in Mahabharata are!  The fights in 'NPS' have an 'artham', and a 'paramartham'.

Get ready for international release?

When we were in the US for the shoot of 'Lover Also Fighter Also', a Hollywood producer approached me regarding a project. I prodded him to evince interest in 'NPS'.  I asked him to watch the movie if he wants to know Allu Arjun's commitment levels.  Upon its release, the Hollywood producer watched it the day before yesterday and told me he will ensure the film will be distributed internationally.  He has totally loved our movie.  'NPS' will be released in the Chinese language in China by the distributors who released 'Dangal' there.  Besides, it will also be dubbed in Spanish.
