Prithviraj Sukumaran, one of the most popular Mollywood actors, has tested positive for COVID-19. On Tuesday noon, the talented actor confirmed the same on Twitter.
As per Prithviraj, he contracted the virus during the making of ‘Jana Gana Mana’. Director Dijo Jose, too, tested positive, as per Malayalam media reports.
“We had strict protocols in place with regards to COVID regulations and associated safety measures. As is the norm, all involved in the shoot were tested before the schedule started and after the last day of shoot in the courtroom set we had put up, tests were repeated. Unfortunately, the test results this time came back positive and I have gone into insolation,” the actor revealed.
Saying that he is asymptomatic, the actor urged his primary and secondary contacts to isolate themselves and get tested immediately.
The actor, earlier in the year, was stuck in Jordan where he had gone to shoot for a film titled ‘Aaadujeevitham’.
