Vadivelu joining the BJP?

Veteran comedy actor Vadivelu is hailed as one of the greatest entertainers that Tamil cinema has ever produced.  Even though its been several years since he regularly appeared in movies he is worshipped as a god for meme creators who can go to his photos for any emotion that they want to express on social media.

A rumour has started doing the rounds that Vadivelu is likely to join the BJP and that talks have started between the party leaders and him.  Politics is not new to the Vaigai Puyal as he has already campaigned for the DMK in the 2011 elections and lost his footing in the field after the party lost.

Though the news about Vadivelu joining the BJP is not official at this point political analysts opine that the national ruling party is keen to get crowdpullers on board to test its strength in the 2021 elections in TN.

It is worth mentioning that actress Khushbu switched to the BJP from the Congress after severely criticizing the Modi led government for many years and it remains to be seen if Vadivelu bites the bait too.
