Prince Harry, 39, and Meghan Markle, 42, have been prohibited from Trooping the Colour for two years.

People reported on Tuesday that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were not invited to this year's June 15 London royal birthday celebration.

The pair was excluded from the first Trooping the Colour under King Charles last year. The California-based Harry and Meghan retired from royal obligations in 2020.

After their 2018 Windsor Castle wedding, the couple attended Trooping the Colour. They also attended in 2019. The Sussexes attended a special celebration in the UK in 2022 to celebrate Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee. In contrast to prior years, they did not join the royal family on the Buckingham Palace balcony. Other nonworking royals observed from a room overlooking Horse Guards Parade.

Harry returned to London for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games in May. Later, his representatives told The Post that he would not meet his estranged father, King Charles, due to his “full” itinerary. Harry last visited Charles in February for 45 minutes after the king's cancer diagnosis.

The Sussexes' May trip to Nigeria reportedly upset the royal family. The Daily Mail reported that Foreign and Commonwealth Office sources said Harry and Meghan visited Nigeria privately without UK government participation.

The Mirror stated that royal expert Tom Quinn said the couple's vacation resembled a royal tour, which enraged Prince William and King Charles. “Their speeches and demeanor suggested they still see themselves as active royals,” Quinn added, which upset the royal family.
