The director of 'Agni Siragugal', Naveen M has taken to Twitter to clarify "Akshara Haasan replaces Shalini Pandey in 'Agni Siragugal'. Akshara is the female lead. Meera Mitun was never committed in the first place. She herself told the press that she is in the movie without my concern. Initially, I didn’t want to make a fuss. But now....".
It may be recalled that Meera also rubbed Sivakarthikeyan's 'Namma Veettu Pillai' team the wrong way by slamming them for deleting the scenes that she acted in.
'Agni Siragugal' produced by Amma Creations T. Siva has Vijay Antony and Arun Vijay as the dual heroes while Akshara Haasan, Raima Sen, Nassar, Thalaivasal Vijay, and Prakash Raj play prominent roles.
