'Mathu Vadalara' hit the screens yesterday. Starring Sri Simha, Satya, Naresh Agasthya and others, this Ritesh Rana-directed movie is a comedy-thriller.
What is striking about its making is that it was made at a cost of just about Rs 2.10 Cr, a report says. For a film made on this budget, the quality of visuals is really awesome. It just goes to show that calibre is what matters the most. Avinash Kolla's production design and Suresh Sarangam's cinematography have played a key role in making it possible.
SS Rajamouli recently said that the film's debutant director, Ritesh Rana, had come up with systematic planning and convinced the producers with his conviction and clear-cut vision. "This is what aspiring directors must learn from him," the 'RRR' director said.
A senior critic has revealed that the film's VFX and DI were accomplished by the director's team, which included just a handful of individuals. "Two graphic cards and two computers is what it took for the work to be done," he says. Really commendable, guys!
