Massive 'Master' running time makes Thalapathy Vijay fans happier

The announcement regarding the release of Thalapathy Vijay's 'Master' has brought huge cheers not only to fans of the top star but also theater owners who are banking on the film to revive the business after more than nine months of no shows enforced by COVID 19 pandemic.

On December 24th XB Film Creators confirmed that the film has recieved the UA certification by the censor board.
Now the image of of a CBFC certificate of 'Master' has gone viral on the internet that show the running time as 178.35 minutes which is 2 hours and 58 minutes just over a minute short of 3 hours. While under normal circumstances the length would seem too long for fans who have been starved of a Thalapathy Vijay movie in theaters for so many months they would feel more is ok and are celebrating the same on social media. The certificate has however not officially authenticted it and may see a reduce in the final running time and the censor board also effected nine cuts of scenes with excessive violence according to sources.
'Master' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by XB Film Creators and Seven Screen Studios has music Anirudh, cinematography by Sathyan Sooryan and editing by Philomin Raj. The top notch cast comprises of Vijay, Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohanan, Andrea Jeremiah, Shantanu Bhagyaraj and Arjun Das.
'Master is all set to hit the screens worldwide on January 13th with the Tamil Nadu government allowing hundred percent occupancy in theaters.
