When will Mari Selvaraj’s second film with Dhanush go on the floors? – Director reveals

Director Mari Selvaraj’s latest film, “Vaazhai”, hit cinemas yesterday and has already garnered rave reviews, solidifying its place as another standout work in his growing filmography. While basking in the success of “Vaazhai”, Mari Selvaraj is also working on the sports drama “Bison”, featuring Dhruv Vikram and Anupama Parameshwaran in lead roles.

Reports indicate that the production of “Bison” is more than halfway complete. Meanwhile, Mari Selvaraj has confirmed future projects with major stars, including Dhanush, Karthi, and Superstar Rajinikanth. Notably, a film with Dhanush was officially announced in April 2023 and is set to mark the return of Dhanush’s production house, Wunderbar Films.

Indiaglitz reported back in 2023 that Mari Selvaraj is expected to start his film with Dhanush after finishing “Bison”. In a recent interview, Mari Selvaraj reconfirmed that his project with Dhanush would begin once “Bison” wraps up. This upcoming film will be their second collaboration, following the success of their previous blockbuster, “Karnan”.
