Mani Ratnam's Madras Talkies and Subaskaran's Lyca Productions are producing this big-ticket multi starrer titled 'Chekka Chivantha Vaanam' in Tamil and 'Nawaab' in Telugu.

The news is that the film, starring Arvind Swami, Simbu, Vijay Sethupathi, Arun Vijay, Prakash Raj, Aditi Rao Hydari and others, will hit the screens on September 28.

If the Telugu version too releases on the same date, it will clash with Nagarjuna-Nani's 'DevaDas' (Sept 27th release).

AR Rahman and cinematographer Santosh Sivan are working on this Mani Ratnam-Siva Ananth penned movie. Editing is by Sreekar Prasad. Production Design is by Sharmishta Roy. Costume Design is by Eka Lakhani. Action Choreography is by Dhilip Subbarayan. Audiography is by Anand Krishnamoorthi.
