Mani Ratnam to Direct Vijay Sethupathi and Sai Pallavi! – Fans in High Anticipation!

In a new film set to be crafted by the legendary duo of director Mani Ratnam and “Isai Puyal” A.R. Rahman, Vijay Sethupathi and Sai Pallavi are slated to pair up for the first time. The official announcement regarding this project has been released and is currently going viral across social media platforms.

The film is being co-produced by Mani Ratnam’s own banner, Madras Talkies, alongside Subaskaran’s Lyca Productions. This marks the 23rd production venture for Madras Talkies. It is reported that after a long hiatus, Mani Ratnam will be directing a full-length romantic drama.

Vijay Sethupathi previously played the character ‘Rasool’ in Mani Ratnam’s Chekka Chivantha Vaanam. He has confirmed his reunion with the director in his recent interviews.

As for Sai Pallavi, this marks her first time acting under Mani Ratnam’s direction. During the audio launch of the film Amaran, Mani Ratnam had openly expressed, “I am a big fan of Sai Pallavi.” That wish is now coming to fruition.

Recently, rumors circulated that young composer Sai Abhyankar would be scoring the music for this film. However, the film crew has confirmed that Mani Ratnam is once again collaborating with his mainstay composer, A.R. Rahman.
