It's known that Mani Ratnam's Madras Talkies and Subaskaran's Lyca Productions are joining hands for a film. The news is that the big-ticket multi starrer has been titled 'Chekka Chivantha Vaanam' in Tamil. It's titled 'Nawaab' in Telugu.

The film will star Arvind Swami, Silambarasan (Simbu), Vijay Sethupathi (also starring in 'Sye Raa'), Arun Vijay, Prakash Raj, Thyagarajan, Mansoor Ali Khan, Jaya Sudha, Aditi Rao, Aishwarya Rajesh, Dayana and others.

"We are planning to start the shoot from Feb 12. AR Rahman and cinematographer Santosh Sivan have teamed up with Mani Ratnam," the makers say.

Mani Ratnam has penned the film in association with Siva Ananth.
