Men mercilessly beat a stray dog to death

A week before two men belonging to Mumbai’s Pratiksha Nagar had beaten up a female stray dog because it barked at them. Now one of the culprits responsible for the dog’s death has been arrested while another is at large still.

Reportedly, the duo Thambi and Surya Nadar had reportedly beaten the dog with bricks and stick to death.  The news of the arrest was welcomed by animal lovers who also wanted that the other criminal is also arrested soon.

It is also worth mentioning here that if the duo is convicted they could land up in jail for up to five years according to the Indian Penal Code. However, seems like the cruelty against animals is only on the rise of late. Hope authorities take action to save animals from violence.
