West Bengal chief-minister Mamata Banerjee, a known critic of the ruling BJP at the Centre and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, would flag off DMK working president M.K. Stalin’s State-wide tour which kicks off on 07th November.
The DMK District Secretaries’ meeting held on Friday at the party headquarters ‘Anna Arivalayam’ passed several resolutions against the AIADMK regime led by the EPS-OPS combine. One of the resolutions revealed Stalin’s State-wide tour, similar to the ‘Namakku Naame’ tour undertaken by Stalin early last year, to speak to people and party cadres across the State on matters of immediate concern.
Stalin would not only condemn the anti-people policies of the State and Central Governments but would also urge party cadres to get ready for mid-term Assembly polls which the party expects to be held at anytime in the State in view of the volatile political situation which has been prevailing for the past few months.
The cadres are looking forward to the tour, which commences on 07th November and which would be flagged off by West Bengal chief-minister ‘Didi’ Mamata Banerjee. Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi might also attend the function to mark the commencement of the tour, it is further reported.
