Unveiling the second look of Mahesh Babu in 'Maharshi', the makers of the Vamshi Paidipally directorial have said that the much-awaited movie is being made lavishly on a big scale.

Giving shooting updates days after its Ramoji Film City schedule was wrapped up, they say, "The shoot of the film is going on at a brisk pace. Starting from the second week of January, the shoot will go on at a stretch till March. The film will head to theatres in April."

Pooja Hegde and Allari Naresh are part of the cast. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director while KU Mohanan is cranking the camera.

Hari and Solmon are part of the writing team (Vamshi worked with them on 'Oopiri' as well). Editing is by KL Praveen, whereas dance choreography is by Raju Sundaram. Lyrics are by Sree Mani, while action direction is by Ram-Lakshman.
