On Saturday, Maddy said that he would like to work with the Kollywood filmmaker but the truth is that he is not part of the Telugu-Tamil bilingual. "Would so love to work with Lingusamy and recreate the magic cause he is such a wonderful, loving man too… unfortunately no truth in the news doing the rounds recently, of us doing a Telugu film together with en as an antagonist (sic)," he tweeted.
The untitled flick was announced in February, a month after the release of Kishore Tirumala-directed 'RED'. Produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi, it is expected to go on the floors soon. Krithi Shetty of 'Uppena' fame has been roped in to play the female lead.
Madhavan awaits the release of his directorial debut 'Rocketry: The Nambi Effect', which will be released in Telugu, English, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada. The film tells the story of rocket scientist Nambi Narayanan, played by Maddy.. Its trailer was out in April.
