Actor Madhavan was last seen on screen in the multilingual movie Nishabdham/ Silence co-starring Anushka Shetty and the movie was released directly on Amazon prime video OTT platform.
Following this, Madhavan’s next movie Maara directed by debutant Dhilip Kumar and co-starring Shraddha Srinath was also announced as a direct OTT release on Amazon prime video on December 17.
However now the team has changed the release plan and it has been made official that Maara will release on January 8, 2021 on Amazon prime. The movie also stars Sshivada and Moulee and has music scored by Ghibran.
