Madhavan after his stupendous success in 'Irudhi Suttru' and 'Vikram Vedha' was recently seen in 'Silence' playing a character with negative shades that won him rave reviews. His next 'Maara' costarring Sshivada and Shraddha Srinath will stream on Amazon Prime Video from December 17th.

Meanwhile there were rumours that Maddy is playing the lead role in the biopic of legendary Indian industrialist Ratan Tata of the Tata Group and even posters started circulating on the internet. The intense actor has clarified "Hey unfortunately it’s not true. It was just a wish at some fans will made the poster. No such project is even on the pipeline or being discussed"

Madhavan is now ready with his directorial debut 'Rocketry The Nambi Effect' the biopic of rocket scientist Nambi Narayanan which is expected to release in early 2021. He is also in talks to star in a number of movies in Tamil and Hindi as well.
