Vijay Sethupathi has been choosing a number of mass driven films of late be it appearing as the hero or the villain. The teaser of his long delayed movie 'Maamanithan' has just been unveiled showcasing the subtle and natural performance of the Makkal Selvan.

'Maamanithan' directed by Vijay Sethupathi's mentor Seenu Ramaswamy is produced by Yuvan Shankar Raja who also has scored the music along with his legendary father Ilayaraja.

The exactly one minute cut of 'Maamanithan' teaser suggests that VJS plays an auto driver and a happy family man who is forced to take to take a tough stand. The visuals prove that the director is in his 'Dharmadurai' mode and has come up with an out and out family entertainer.

'Maamanithan' stars Vijay Sethupathi, S. Gayathrie, Guru Somasundaram, Shaji Chen, Jewel Mary, Anikha, Saravana Shakti and KPAC Lalitha. Efforts are on to bring the film to theaters soon.
