MAA President Manchu Vishnu unveils the magic, Inaugurates Navathi Ustavam logo

Malaysia is gearing up to host the grand Navathi Utsavam, an extravagant event celebrating the illustrious 90-year tradition of Telugu cinema. The event is expected to be star-studded, with over 143 stars from Indian cinema and more than 50 A-list celebrities in attendance. The announcement was made by Movie Artistes' Association President Vishnu Manchu, Vice President Madala Ravi, MC Entertainment's Datuk P. Kamalanathan, Tourism Malaysia's Director General Mr. Manoharan Periasamy, and Sunway Resort's Hotel Manager Mr. Sidi M. Fikri. The prestigious Stadium Bukit Jalil in Kuala Lumpur will host the event on July 20, 2024.

Actor and MAA President Vishnu Manchu unveiled the logo for Navathi Utsavam in Kuala Lumpur, expressing his excitement for the event and inviting everyone to join in celebrating 90 years of Telugu Cinema. The event's second launch, following the one in Hyderabad on March 24, 2024, at the Park Hyatt, was well-received, with dignitaries from Tourism Malaysia and Chennai attending.

Navathi Utsavam 2024, organized by MAA Hyderabad in collaboration with Tourism Malaysia and coordinated by MC Entertainment, has garnered global attention and bids from countries like Saudi Arabia, Dubai, and Qatar.

Tourism Malaysia is proud to host this historic event, presenting Malaysia's diversity and beauty to the world through Navathi Utsavam 2024, according to Mr. Manoharan Periasamy. This event is a significant milestone in their efforts to position Malaysia as a top film destination in preparation for Visit Malaysia Year 2026.

Indian actress Nidhhi Agerwal, known for her work in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi films, also attended the event, expressing her gratitude for being part of the celebration. Navathi Utsavam in Malaysia aims to unite people, highlighting the rich history of Telugu cinema and promoting cultural exchange.

MC Entertainment Director Edwin Anand Raj expressed his honor in working with MAA and Tourism Malaysia to bring this celebration to life. The event at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil is expected to draw over 70,000 people and will include a youth engagement program and a Telugu creative workshop.

Tourism Malaysia extends a warm invitation to all guests of Navathi Utsavam, promising a memorable experience. Ticket sales begin on May 10th, and interested individuals can secure their seats at Navathi 2024.
