It is the season of sports in Kollywood as there are many sports based movies made, like the recent Bigil and the upcoming Jersey remake and many other movies, besides, sportsmen are entering films as well, and few cricketers who played for India are making their Tamil debut.

One among the popular Indian cricketers who's entering films is pacer Irfan Pathan who was once the top bowler of the national side, and he is debuting with Chiyaan Vikram's 58th movie which is directed by Demonte Colony and Imaikkaa Nodigal director Ajay Gnanamuthu.

Irfan has started shooting and has completed a schedule, and updated the same with his tweet in Tamil "வணக்கம் மக்களே.. நடிப்புலகில் முதல் படி எடுத்து வைக்கும் எனக்கு மிகவும் உதவியாய் இருந்த தமிழ் மக்களுக்கு நன்றி..முதல் schedule நல்லபடியா முடிஞ்சாச்சு.. மீண்டும் எல்லாரையும் சந்திக்க "I'm waiting" #ChiyaanVikram58 " and also conveyed the same in English "Greetings (Vanakkam) All..
