It was rumoured that the teaser for 'Liger' would be released today (May 9), which is Vijay Deverakonda's birthday. In a statement on Sunday, Dharma Productions and Puri Connects clarified that no teaser is going to come out.

"We were all geared up to reveal a power-packed teaser for 'Liger' on May 9. However, due to the current scenario and environment that our country is facing, we have decided to postpone the same in the hope to share it with the world at a better time for us all," the production houses said.

The makers also assured that the 'Arjun Reddy' actor will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar in the movie.

The film also features Ananya Panday, Ramya Krishna, Ronit Roy, Ali, Makarand Deshpande, Getup Srinu, Abdul Quadir Amin, and others. With music by Mani Sharma and Tanishk Bagchi, the film is scheduled to release in theatres on September 9.
