Hollywood superstar Leonardo DiCaprio one of the highest paid actors in the world is also known for his philanthropic activities. He is especially the strongest voice gobally on climate change and its impact on the future of mother earth.
DiCaprio has donated 10 million USD to Ukraine as aide in its ongoing war with Russia. His gesture has history behind it as his maternal grandmother Helene was born in Odessa in southern Ukraine and later migrated to Germany in 1917. The 47 year old actor was raised by his mother Irmelin who along with Helene often accompanied him during the promotions of his movies.
On the movie front Leo will next appear in Martin Scorsese's 'Killers of the Flower Moon' costarring Robert De Niro releasing in November this year.
