Lawrence gets emotional, Kamal slams

When everybody thought the Jallikattu protests would subside after the passing of Ordinance allowing it, they are still on as protesters are demanding a permanent solution.  Today morning, police personnel resorted to force to remove protesters who refused to leave the place. All the roads leading to Marina have been blocked in Chennai.

Apart from thousands of commoners, Raghava Lawrence and music director GV Prakash Kumar tried to reach Marina before they were stopped by the police. Despite police requesting them to go back. the two celebrities have stayed put.  In certain places police had to hurl tear gas at supporters as some miscreants hurled a stone at a police officer.  Raghava has released a video in which he is seen getting emotional at the turn of events.

On the other hand, Kamal Haasan tweeted, "This is a mistake.  Aggressive police action on students' passive resistance will not bear good results."
