Aishwarya Rajinikanth is back with her directorial venture, 'Lal Salaam'. The film is a cricket-based sports drama featuring Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in lead roles with Superstar Rajinikanth playing an extended cameo role. The highly anticipated movie is coming to cinemas on Pongal 2024.

The makers have started giving out regular updates on Lal Salaam. Lyca Productions announced the release of the film's first single today. A poster of the first song 'Ther Thiruvizha' was unveiled and it will be released tomorrow at 5 PM. Isai Puyal AR Rahman composed a musical score for 'Lal Salaam'. Superstar Rajinikanth plays Moideen Bhai, a gangster while Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth are portraying cricketers. The movie also stars Jeevitha Rajasekhar, Livingston, Senthil, KS Ravikumar, Nirosha, Thambi Ramaiah, Vivek Prasanna, Thangadurai and others. The film has cinematography handled by Vishnu Rangasamy and editing by B. Pravin Baaskar.
