The Ghattamaneni family on Tuesday put out a statement hours after the sad passing away of Superstar Krishna. They described the thespian’s demise as one of deepest grief.
“He was a superstar in so many ways beyond the movie screen… guided by love, humility and compassion. He will live on through his work, through us, and the many lives he influenced,” the family said, adding that Krishna loved them more than anything and that he will be missed more with each passing day. The family bid a hard goodbye.
Meanwhile, non-Telugu film actors like Superstar Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Suriya and Karthi have also posted social media posts remembering Krishna. The ‘2.0’ actor recalled his cinematic association with Krishna on three movies. Kamal prayed that Mahesh Babu and other family members of the departed soul have the strength to overcome the loss.
Political heavyweights such as YS Jaganmohan Reddy have also praised Krishna. The Andhra Pradesh CM referred to ‘Alluri Sitharamaraju’ and the James Bond films. Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin wrote, “He was a visionary who pioneered many innovations in Telugu Cinema. His demise is an irreparable loss to Indian Film Industry.”
