‘Keshava’ opening gross is stunning

'Keshava' has turned out to be the biggest grosser in terms of openings in Nikhil Siddharth's career.  Released on May 19, the thriller has mopped up Rs. 11.40 Cr as of the end of Sunday.  The first weekend gross is definitely big, even discounting the fact that summer crowds are warming up to the film in big numbers.

In Nizam area, the film has collected Rs. 3.2 Cr.  In Andhra, it's Rs. 4.2 Cr.  Ceeded and Overseas account for Rs. 1.25 Cr and Rs. 1.6 Cr, respectively.  Rest of India accounts for Rs. 1.1 Cr.  

Produced by Sri Abhishek Pictures' Abhishek Nama, the Sudheer Varma-Nikhil combo has once again scored a hit years after 'Swamy Ra Ra'.

The makers are believing that the performances and the technical elements have worked well in the film's favour.  Vennela Kishore, Rao Ramesh, Ajay, Brahmaji, Priyadarshi, Raja Ravindra and others are seen.  Diwakar Mani's cinematography and Sunny MR's BGM are getting critical acclaim.
