State Governments support Sachin Tendulkar's film

Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar's biopic 'Sachin: A Billion Dreams' is all set to hit the screens on May 26, 2017. The film will be releasing in Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu and Marathi languages.

Now it has been confirmed that the Kerala and Chhattisgarh states of India have granted tax exemption for the film as it is about a legendary cricketer who is a inspiration to every Indian to achieve big in life.

It is expected that many other stats will accord the tax exempt status for the film. Tamil Nadu Government which has been granting tax exemption for Tamil films that fulfill certain criteria is also expected to follow suit as Sachin is celebrated like an idol in this state, especially the capital city Chennai.

Directed by James Erskine and produced by 200 Not Out Productions banner 'Sachin: A Billion Dreams' includes Sachin himself in the star cast there by marking his debut in film industry. Isaipuyal A.R.Rahman has provided music score for the film.
