Keerthy Suresh promotes ‘Miss India’ wearing a ‘chai’ t-shirt

Keerthy Suresh awaits the release of ‘Miss India’ on November 4. Netflix is going to stream the corporate drama, in which the ‘Mahanati’ actress is playing an entrepreneur who launches a chai chain.

Promoting it, she drew a distinction between tea and coffee. “Coffee calls for a shop, Chai calls for a kottu! One is a feeling. Another, my emotion! (sic),” Keerthy wrote on Twitter, putting out pics of her wearing a t-shirt on which the image of chai is printed.

Wondering why Keerthy had to mention coffee? Jagapathi Babu’s character in ‘Miss India’ runs a coffee chain and it’s against him that Keerthy launches a tea chain. They both play business rivals in the film.

Directed by Y Narendra Nath, the film also stars Nadhiya, Rajendra Prasad, VK Naresh and Kamal Kamaraju.
