India has been besotted with too many negatives on the COVID-19 front. However, there are also bright spots. One of them is that the country has logged the maximum number of recoveries in the world.
Official data released by the Government of India on Monday says that the total number of recoveries has crossed 75 lakhs. The precise number is 7,544,798.
The total active cases are now counted to be 5,61,908. For perspective, this is only 6.83% of the total positive cases.

In just September and October, the percentage of active cases got reduced more than 3 times.
Tests have crossed the landmark of 11 crore (11,07,43,103) mark on Monday.
India has got about 2,037 COVID-19 testing labs.
The national recovery rate stands at 91.68%.
