Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is planning to launch a party named Bharatiya Rashtra Samiti. A national TV channel today reported that the party’s headquarters will come up in New Delhi.
Senior journalist Uma Sudhir has interviewed the Telangana CM and tweeted that he has thrown the first hint about going national in an NDTV interview.
KCR has criticized the Narendra Modi government’s alleged attempts to arm twist state governments ruled by Opposition parties by misusing the Governor’s office. He also made a mention of how the late NT Rama Rao fought back when the Centre tried to end his political career in the 1980s.
KCR’s comments clearly indicate that he is going to launch a tirade against the BJP. Of late, KTR, too, has been making statement after statement against the saffron party, saying that its leaders worship Nathuram Godse but speak in the language of Mahatma Gandhi.
Election strategist Prashant Kishor is going to give a renewed focus on helping the TRS become more popular in Telangana.
