Former Telangana CM and BRS chief KCR was admitted to Yashoda Hospitals in Hyderabad after a fall at his farmhouse in Erravalli on Thursday night. Confirming the incident, his daughter and party MLC K Kavitha took to social media, saying, "BRS supremo KCR Garu sustained a minor injury and is currently under expert care in the hospital. With the support and well-wishes pouring in, Dad will be absolutely fine soon. Grateful for all the love."

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also expressed concern, sharing a post that read, "Distressed to know that former Telangana CM Shri KCR Garu has suffered an injury. I pray for his speedy recovery and good health."

Reports suggest that KCR suffered injuries in his legs and hips, with a suspected fracture. CM Revanth Reddy directed Yashoda Hospital to provide excellent treatment and deputed the Health Secretary to oversee the situation. Following the CM's directions, the Health Secretary visited Yashoda Hospital, Somajiguda, and interacted with doctors and hospital management. They reported that KCR had a hip fracture due to the fall but is in stable condition. The hospital management assured that the best care would be provided during his hospitalization.

Latest reports indicate that an expert team of doctors, led by Dr. Kalvakuntla Sanjay, a BRS party MLA and orthopedic specialist at Yashoda Hospital, will perform hip replacement surgery on KCR in the evening. KCR's condition is stable, and he is expected to undergo a recovery period of six to eight weeks after the surgery. The hospital, in its bulletin, stated that KCR would require left hip replacement.

Despite his old age, KCR's condition remains stable, as reported by the hospital. The Chief Minister directed the Health Secretary to closely monitor the former Chief Minister's treatment and keep him updated. During the transit from his residence to the hospital, the police department ensured a green channel for the movement of the former Chief Minister.
