'DaDa' is the latest theatrical hit in Tamil starring Kavin and Aparna Das in the lead roles. The film was released on February 10 and still continues to run successfully in theatres amid the other biggies. Also, the film earned praise from legends like Kamal Haasan and Dhanush.

Recently, the highly acclaimed actor Karthi watched and appreciated the film through Twitter. He wrote, "Finally watched #Dada. What a great film! So happy to see such good writing and film making. Great performances by everyone. @Kavin_m_0431 - it was such a beautiful and complete performance. Congratulations team. Very proud of you guys. @ganeshkbabu @aparnaDasss @ambethkumarmla" (sic).

In addition, Karthi also spoke to Kavin over the phone for five minutes. Taking to Twitter, Kavin revealed, "It was a five minute call. Amongst the everything you told me, I can only remember this one thing forever - “I will remember this film” And I want to let you know that I will never forget this, @Karthi_Offl sir #VaazhgaValamudanVandhiyatheva" (sic).

DaDa is a soulful entertainer that narrates the tale of a single father. Directed by Ganesh K Babu, the movie also stars Bhagyaraj, Aishwarya Baskaran, VTV Ganesh, Pradeep Antony, Harish K, Fouziee and others. It has music by Jen Martin, cinematography by Ezhil Arasu and editing by Kathiresh Alagesan.
