Kavin who made his acting debut in the serial 'Kana Kaanum Kalangal' later impressed with his role as 'Vettaiayan' in the 'Saravanan Meenatchi' serial.  However it was through 'Bigg Boss 3' hosted by Kamal Haasan that he became a household name.  His onscreen romance with Losliya Mariyanesan was one of the highlights of the show.

Fans beleived that Kavin and Losliya were a couple but after 'Bigg Boss 3' they went their separate ways and have never appeared together or spoken about each other.  In his recent interview the rising star has opened up about his love life.

Kavin has stated "I am still currently searching for such true love. Surely such a thing will happen one day forever. Hope I get a life of happiness. I love my job too. The handsome hunk added that the first part of his life was spent in his hometown Trichy which even now he loves.  He continued that the second phase of his life is what he has experienced in Chennai in the entertainment industry.  He expressed hope that he would soon find a nice girl who suits him and his family, marry her and have children with her which will be the third phase of his life.

Kavin had two successful films 'Lift' and 'Akash Vaani' both of which went straight to OTT.  He is currently starring in 'Oorkuruvi' produced by Nayanthara and is said to be a part of Ajith's 'AK61' directed by H. Vinoth.
