Major change in Karthik Subbaraj – Dhanush movie!

Karthik Subbaraj is a happy man, as he had just delivered a superhit movie, starring none other than his matinee idol Superstar Rajnikanth, in Petta. The mega multistarrer flick also featuring Vijay Sethupathi, Trisha, Simran, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Sasikumar, Malavika Mohanan, Mahendran was a dream come true for Karthik Subbaraj.

Post the success of Petta, Karthik Subbaraj is all set to begin his next soon. It has been two years since the announcement of his collaboration with Dhanush was made, and due to various reasons, the project had been delayed, and Dhanush had VIP 2, Maari 2, Vada Chennai released in the period, and Karthik Subbaraj had Mercury and Petta released.

Now, it has been revealed that the project is still on, and has not been shelved but has changed hands from originally announced producers Thenandal Studios to YNot Studios Shashikant. The movie is set to be shot in the US extensively, and is said to start rolling from June. Karthik Subbaraj has planned to rope in Hollywood actors like Al Pacino to play important roles in the movie. An official announcement on the project takeover is expected soon.
