Karthi is one of the prominent stars in the Tamil industry. He is known for delivering hits consecutively with every director he teams up with. In a recent interview, Karthi hinted at teaming up with his big brother Suriya for a movie. His statement is now going viral on the internet.

Suriya and Karthi are one of the most popular sibling duos in Indian cinema. Karthi played the powerful protagonist Dilli in Lokesh Kanagaraj's cinematic universe while Suriya entered it as the deadly villain Rolex. Fans are already going gaga over the possibility of both actors sharing screen space in LCU. In his interaction with Variety, Karthi said, "Very rarely are brothers in the same industry. And we really want to do one good film together for sure. Earlier, I was scared. Now we are both certain, we have to do one."

Karthi also talked about the hugely awaited 'Kaithi 2' project in LCU. He stated, "A sequel of Kaithi is on the cards. We’ve already planned for it. But the timeline of the movie is being worked upon." When asked about his current projects, the Ponniyin Selvan actor shared some exciting details about 'Japan', 'Karthi 26' and 'Karthi 27'.

"Japan has the potential to be showcased to an international audience. It’s a crime thriller, it’s got a manhunt to it. But apart from that, the writing and characters in the film are so well-rooted," said Karthi. As per his interview, he is up for an untitled “fantasy action entertainer” from director Nalan Kumarasamy, for which 50% of the shoot is complete and an untitled “personal, coming of age” film by Prem Kumar, where he stars alongside Arvind Swami.
