Karthi starrer 'Sardar' is all set to storm the screens tomorrow following the riveting success of his 'Ponniyin Selvan'. The actor is currently busy with the promotions of the much-awaited film. Yesterday, he was present at the 'Sardar' Telugu pre-release event in Hyderabad.

In the event, Karthi was asked about when Rolex and Dilli meet in the LCU. He answered, "Even, I don't know if Rolex and Dilli are going to meet. We have to ask director Lokesh Kanagaraj. But we are definitely starting Kaithi 2 next year." Karthi played Dilli in his 2019 film 'Kaithi' and his brother Suriya played 'Rolex' in Kamal Haasan's 'Vikram'.

Director Lokesh Kanagaraj created his cinematic universe with these two films. While the fans are awaiting the ultimate showdown between Dilli and Rolex, the makers are set to begin the Kaithi sequel next year. This universe will have more sequels and spin-offs. Lokesh Kanagaraj will start Kaithi 2 after the completion of 'Thalapathy 67' with actor Vijay.
