Clashing with Vijay's Bigil and Vijay Sethupathi's Sanga Thamizhan, Karthi's Kaithi will hit the screens across the world this Diwali, as announced by the producer. Kaithi is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, who is also directing Vijay's upcoming movie, the untitled Thalapathy 64.

While the visuals of the teaser of Kaithi promised an intense action thriller, fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of the film's trailer. The producers took to social media a while ago to announce the official trailer release date as October 7. The trailer will be released at 7 pm.

Produced by Dream Warrior Pictures in collaboration with Vivekananda Pictures, Kaithi also features Narain, George Maryan, Ramana, Dheena, Vatsan Chakravarthy, Yogi Babu, Mahanadi Shankar, Ponvannan, and Thalaivasal Vijay. Sam CS has composed the music for the film.
