Karthi, one of Tamil cinema’s most loved stars could not have asked for a better 2022 as three of his films namely ‘Viruman’, ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ and ‘Sardar’ turned out be blockbuster hits. He is now acting in ‘Japan’ which has captured the imagination of his fans right from the time the first look was released a few months back. The shooting of this film is going on in full swing.
Today as a Pongal treat for fans a new poster of ‘Japan’ has been released that shows Karthi in yet another quirky getup with curly hair standing and a skeleton beside him in weird place. The film stars Karthi and Anu Emmaneul as the lead pair supported by Sunil and popular cinematographer turned director Vijay Milton who makes his acting debut.
‘Japan’ is drected by Raju Murugan of ‘Joker’ fame and is produced on a grand scale by Dream Warrior Pictures in four languages namely Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. Music by GV Prakash, cinematography by Ravi Varman, editing by Philomin Raj, and stunt direction by Anbariv. The film carries an important milestone being Karthi’s 25th in his career and is expected to release in Summer 2023.
