Netflix has made official the names of about 16 Telugu films as part of its licensed Telugu content slate for 2023. They will stream on the streaming giant after their theatrical release.
Monika Shergill, VP – Content, Netflix India, made the announcement marking Sankranthi. Netflix said that SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’, Nani-starrer ‘Shyam Singha Roy’ and ‘Ante Sundaraniki’ have been among the most successful films streaming on the platform.
Trivikram-Mahesh Babu’s SSMB28 and Megastar Chiranjeevi’s ‘Bhola Shankar’ are among the biggest post-theatrical releases to happen this year.
Very soon Ravi Teja’s ‘Dhamaka’ will stream. Nikhil Siddhartha’s ’18 Pages’ will also stream from January 27.
Nani’s ‘Dasara’ (theatrical release is March 30), Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s ‘Tillu Square’, Naveen Polishetty’s film with Anushka Shetty, Kalyanram’s ‘Amigos’ (theatrical release is February 10), Kiran Abbavaram’s ‘Meter’, ‘Buddy’, ‘Butta Bomma’ (theatrical release is January 26), Panjaa Vaisshnav Tej’s 4th movie, Varun Tej’s 12th movie, ‘Virupaksha’ and the Gopichand-starrer ‘Rama Banam’ have been acquired by Netflix.
